Good health starts with the feet

Doctors and nurses spend the entire day on their feet, putting enormous strain on their bodies. Tired legs, back pain and vein problems are the most common medical issues among people in this sector. But it doesn’t have to be this way!

kybun shoes are perfectly suited to the work that people do in hospitals and doctors’ surgeries. The walk-on-air sole provides optimal shock absorption and noticeably reduces the stress on the body. The shoes are also easy to clean and disinfect. The non-slip soles provide a secure grip and prevent accidents in the workplace. What’s more, the foot climate system ensures optimal moisture and temperature regulation.

Long and intensive working days are common in the healthcare sector

«kybun shoes enable active, healthy movement on hard surfaces. The soft, flexible sole is gentle on joints, strengthens your muscles and improves balance,»explains Prof. Dr Christian Gäbler, a consultant in trauma surgery and sport traumatology in Vienna, Austria.

Dr Konrad Birrer, consultant certified by the Swiss Medical Association in Lucerne, Switzerland, is impressed with how effective the shoe is: «kybun shoes are an effective tool for proprioceptive training. You can wear them at all times and they are very comfortable. I was able to relieve the strain on my Achilles tendon just by wearing kybun shoes. I didn’t need any specific therapy, as the flexible sole strengthened the stabilising muscles in my ankles and relieved the overstrained muscles. I would advise wearing kybun shoes after any injuries to the lower extremities and I’d recommend them for jobs where you’re required to stand all day, for athletes and for the elderly, as they can prevent falls.»

The kybun waiting room – Doctors recommend the kybun mat

Alongside malnutrition and smoking, lack of exercise is one of the main causes of lifestyle diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes and coronary heart diseases. Doctors recommend the kyBounder to patients as the soft springy mat allows them to do a moderate amount of movement while completing everyday activities. Medical professionals use the kyBounder as a therapy or preventative measure for back pain, venous diseases and foot problems, among others things.

Many doctors have set up a kybun waiting room where patients can try out the kybun mat. The kybun mat allows patients to remain active while waiting and find out about the kybun movement concept.

Dynamically standing on the elastic springy kybun mat has the following advantages:

  • Enables more movement during your everyday routine
  • Releases tension
  • Strengthens foot muscles
  • Keeps joints constantly moving without straining them
  • Stretches contracted muscles
  • Balances out relieving postures and straightens posture

kybun shoes ideally combine three important factors of healthy and pleasant walking in shoes – the springiness of every step, comfort – thanks to the perfect shape and spaciousness of the shoe – and easy lower extremities workout and exercise just through regular walking, thanks to the principle of the unstable underfoot. Engaging maximum muscles of lower extremities as well as the torso automatically leads to their strengthening. Involving all muscles in regular walking also results in significant performance boost of the “muscle pump”, which has a wholesome effect on the venous and lymphatic system of lower extremities. Walking in these shoes therefore relieves chronic back and joint pain, is beneficial for overstrained tendons and ligaments and last but not least it can reduce tension and pressure in calves. The main use of kybun shoes is for me walking on hard surfaces – walking to work in the city, intensive city tourism (excursion tours, etc.). But you will greatly benefit from them in lighter terrain as well. Put on the kybun shoes and your feet will be grateful to you!! On top of that, they are just comfy to walk in…

The workload in the medical profession is high, and we are constantly on our feet. That is why I decided to wear the kybun Swiss air-cushion shoe to work. It relieves my joints and enables me to spend more time on my feet without making me feel tired or uncomfortable.  Thanks to the special soles, it feels like I am walking on air!

I have suffered from upper and lower back pain for a long time now. Due to the nature of my work, you could say I’m ‘chained’ to the dental chair for more than eight hours a day. I have to bend over the patients I’m treating, meaning my back muscles are always tense. I came to a turning point at age 60, when a physiatrist friend of mine advised me to wear kybun shoes. It was the solution to almost all of my postural problems. Taking a walk in my new kybun shoes is worth more to me than a session with an osteopath or an hour of Pilates! Aside from the wonderful feeling of walking on a cloud, my posture instantly rebalances and my back pain slowly disappears. I’m so happy with them that I bought one pair for the hospital where I work, another for my private practice, a sportier pair for spring and a winter pair for rainy days. Now I can’t get along without them. I also wanted to give a pair to my brother, who is an officer in the Carabinieri. He has had several operations for badly herniated vertebral discs. He was also very happy and satisfied with this new approach, after having tried many alternative therapies. But all these words are a waste of time ... you need to try them to understand the comfort, quality and therapeutic properties! You have to try them to believe it! Thank you, kybun. I will always be grateful to you. I will only buy kybun shoes!
