The 97-year-old Prof. Dr Hecht is proof that exercise and mobility are essential for good health in later life.

The opportunities to get physical exercise in the outdoors are endless: from cycling over gentle hills, taking a dip in a cool river or lake, or hiking on a myriad of trails across fields and paths: the main focus is healthy exercise in the fresh air. The now 97-year-old (first featured as a young 92-year-old in the video) Prof. Dr Hecht clearly demonstrates that healthy exercise in nature is a key part of staying fit and agile as we grow older.
